About the United States of America
The USA is a varied landscape ranging from the cold states of the Northeast (Maine, Massachusetts, and Vermont) to the hot areas of the southeast and west (Florida, Louisiana, and Texas). The United States boasts two major mountain ranges – the Rockies and the Appalachians. In addition, America has numerous forests, national parks, beaches, multiple ocean fronts, lakes, rivers, and everything in between. As a compliment to nature and its large land area, there are many urban areas spread across the country. From the biggest and most well-known cities, like New York City and Washington, D.C., to smaller, historical cities of Charleston and Savannah, there is something for everyone.
